This page describes how a return moves through our process. The return window, the condition an item has to be in, and any exceptions are set out in our Refund Policy. Please read that page before you send anything back, because it is what governs the return.
How a return works
- Contact us first. Write to us through the contact page with your order number, the item you want to return, and what the problem is. We will reply with what to do next.
- Return the item. Pack the piece securely and follow the instructions we send you. Keep any tracking information until the return is complete.
- Refund. How a refund is handled once a returned item reaches us is set out in the Refund Policy.
Exchanges
If you want a different size, a different metal, or a different birthstone, contact us through the contact page with your order number and tell us what you would like instead, and we will tell you what is possible for that order. You can also place a new order for the piece you want, choosing the exact size, metal, and stone yourself, and handle the original piece as a return. Either way, the conditions in the Refund Policy apply to the piece you send back.
Getting the size right the first time
If fit is the question, start with the size guides rather than with a return:
- Ring size guide — US sizes 4 to 13 in half sizes, with some children's and stacking styles from 0.5 to 3.5.
- Chain size guide — chains from 12 to 36 inches, necklaces from 16 to 36 inches.
- Bracelet size guide — 9 to 12 inches, plus Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large.
- Birthstone guide — which stone goes with which month.
Engraved and personalized pieces
Engraved items are made with the text you supply, so check your spelling and layout against the engraving guide before you order. Whether a personalized item can be returned is stated in the Refund Policy.
